Speaking at a Veer Bal Diwas program on Friday, PM Modi said the young Sahibzadas stood firmly against oppressive Mughal rulers. Their determination shook even religious intolerance. The event also honored 20 children with the National Child Award. He added that the Sahibzadas represent India’s pride, unmatched courage, and bravery. Their actions continue to inspire Indians today.
PM Modi said that every year on 26 December, he feels satisfied that Veer Bal Diwas preserves the Sahibzadas’ bravery for the next generation. This platform reminds people of their sacrifices and inspires young Indians. He recalled that the tradition began four years ago to ensure the nation’s heroes are remembered and celebrated.
He further stated, “India has decided to free itself from the mindset of slavery.
