According to Sports News in Punjabi, India has won the hosting rights for the Commonwealth Games 2030. The announcement came today during an executive board meeting held in Glasgow, Scotland. The main events and matches of these games will take place in Ahmedabad.

India will host the Commonwealth Games after 15 years. Previously, New Delhi hosted the games in 2010, where India won over 100 medals, including 38 golds.

It is also noted that the Commonwealth team has already visited Gujarat twice. Experts say that hosting the Commonwealth Games will strengthen Indiaโ€™s bid for the 2036 Olympic Games, as reported by Sports News in Punjabi.
