Nihang Singhs Organise Grand Mahalla with Khalsa Splendour

In a major Punjab News update, Nihang Singh organizations, led by Baba Balbir Singh Akali, head of the Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal (96 Crore), organised a grand Mahalla from Gurdwara Bibangarh Chhawani Budha Dal. The procession honoured the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji and celebrated the Prakash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

First, devotees performed the Bhog of Akhand Path at Gurdwara Bibangarh Sahib following Nihang Maryada, and then they carried out Gurbani Kirtan.

Next, the Mahalla proceeded from Gurdwara Bibangarh Sahib through Gurdwara Thanda Burj, Fatehgarh Sahib, Nishan Kila, Gurdwara Shaheed Singhan, and Jyoti Saroop Sahib before reaching the open college ground. Elephants, camels, horses, marching bands, dhol-nagaras, and narsinghas accompanied the procession. Furthermore, Nihang Singhs demonstrated horsemanship, Gatka, and combat skills, thrilling thousands of devotees.

Addressing the gathering, Baba Balbir Singh urged the community to draw inspiration from historic martyrdoms and actively preserve the honour of Sikh heritage. Additionally, leaders and forces from Budha Dal, Tarna Dal, and other Nihang groups from India and abroad joined the Mahalla, making it a major highlight in Punjab News.
