From October 25, Shaheedi Events Dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th Martyrdom Begin at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib

New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media – In the latest Indian News Today, the Punjab government will inaugurate a series of events dedicated to the 350th Shaheedi (martyrdom) anniversary of the ninth Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur, with prayers at the historic Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Delhi on October 25. Today, the official logo for the 350th Shaheedi anniversary was unveiled at Punjab Bhavan.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs Tarunpreet Singh Sand, and department advisor Deepak Bali informed the press that the Punjab government has planned a month-long schedule of events to honor the Shaheedi anniversary. These celebrations will begin on October 25 at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Delhi.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, all cabinet ministers, and other prominent personalities will pay homage at the Gurdwara. On the evening of October 25, a Kirtan Darbar will be organized at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib.

From November 1 to 18, Light and Sound shows will be conducted across all districts of Punjab, showcasing the remarkable life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Kirtans will be performed in towns and cities where the Guru visited. On November 18, a Kirtan Darbar will be held in Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir).

A Nagar Kirtan (procession) will follow, resting in Pathankot on November 20, Hoshiarpur on November 21, and concluding at Sri Anandpur Sahib on November 22. Additionally, on November 20, three Nagar Kirtans will be organized from Takht Damdama Sahib (Talwandi Sabo), Faridkot, and Gurdaspur, all culminating at Sri Anandpur Sahib on November 22.
