Punjab Government Announces ₹314.22 Crore Aid for Orphaned and Destitute Children

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government continues to take steps for the welfare of orphaned and destitute children. According to CM Punjab News Today, the government has so far released ₹314.22 crore in financial assistance, benefiting 2,37,406 children across the state.

The support helps children continue their education and become self-reliant. Children under 21 years of age who have lost their parents or whose families cannot care for them are eligible. Officials highlighted that this initiative is not just financial aid but also a commitment by the government to ensure a safe, dignified, and bright future for every child, as reported by CM Punjab News Today.
