7 Dead in Stampede at Kashibugga Temple in Andhra Pradesh

Reacting to the shocking incident, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep grief in a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). He wrote:
“I am saddened by the stampede at the Venkateshwara Temple in Kashibugga, Srikakulam. It is extremely unfortunate that devotees lost their lives in this tragic incident. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.”

The Chief Minister also stated that he has instructed officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and directed officers & local leaders to oversee rescue and relief operations.
