Japan’s Business Leaders Invited to Invest in Punjab

CM Punjab News Today reports that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, during his Japan visit, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Edogawa Gandhi Park, Tokyo. He promoted Punjab as a top investment destination. Mann invited Japanese companies to explore opportunities in the state.

He met officials from J-BIC, Aisin Industry, Yamaha, Honda Motors, JICA South Asia, Toray Industries, Fujitsu Ltd., and others. Mann discussed partnerships in advanced manufacturing, electronics, food processing, renewable energy, and global services. He said Punjab is evolving to meet sector-specific demands.

Mann invited Japanese investors to the 6th Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, March 13–15 at ISB Mohali. He assured full support from the state government and highlighted Punjab-Japan trust and long-term business potential. Japanese companies showed strong interest in investing.
