According to sources, several matters related to Rajoanaโs pending mercy petition with the central government were discussed in detail during the meeting. The discussion reportedly lasted for about an hour. After the meeting, Dhami left without speaking to the journalists waiting outside.
The meeting between Dhami and Rajoana comes nearly ten days after the SGPC Secretary wrote a letter to the Additional DGP (Jails), requesting permission and a suitable time for the meeting.
