The Latest Punjab News in Punjabi reports that Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her cabinet ministers offered prayers at Sri Harmandir Sahib on Monday. After successfully organizing the 350th Shaheedi Purab program of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at Delhi’s Red Fort, they visited the Golden Temple to make a ‘Shukrana’ (thanksgiving) offering.

Alongside CM Gupta, ministers Parvesh Singh, Ashish Sood, Kapil Mishra, Ravinder Inderaz, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa participated in the prayers.

Earlier, the Chief Minister praised the “extraordinary success” of the Gurmat Samagam at the Red Fort in November. She noted that over six lakh devotees participated in the religious ceremonies without disruption, despite the atmosphere of fear caused by a terrorist incident one day before the three-day event.

CM Gupta and her ministers will also pay homage at Durgiana Mandir and Valmiki Tirath in Amritsar. Upon reaching Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport, local BJP leaders, led by District President Harvinder Singh Sandhu, personally welcomed them. The Latest Punjab News in Punjabi highlights this visit as a demonstration of the Chief Minister’s commitment to religious and cultural traditions.
