On this occasion, Gurdwara Baba Makhan Shah Lubana Sikh Center New York will organize a grand religious event on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
This large gathering will take place at Smokey Park in Richmond Hill, where thousands of devotees are expected to participate.
Event Dedicated to the Great Martyrs
This religious event will not only honor the Ninth Guru but also pay tribute to the extraordinary sacrifices of the great Sikhs who embraced martyrdom alongside him—Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Diala Ji.
According to the Gurdwara management committee, renowned Sikh preachers, dhadi jathas, and raagi jathas from the Panth are expected to attend. These spiritual personalities will bless the congregations with soulful kirtan, enlightening discourses, and Gurbani reflections.
Akhand Paath and Langar Arrangements
The committee shared that prior to the main event, the Bhog of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib Ji will be performed at the Gurdwara.
A grand Guru Ka Langar has been arranged for all attendees, offering a variety of dishes. Food and refreshment stalls will also be set up for the sangat.
