A shocking incident has come to light in News in Canada Today in Punjabi, where a Barrie childcare center is investigating allegations that an educator assaulted children under their care. Complaints from parents first surfaced in July and August, prompting an internal probe.

According to BrightPath Early Learning and Child Care, the center began its investigation on August 7 after receiving a complaint. The parents of a four-year-old girl alleged that the educator hit their daughter on the nose and mouth and sprayed a cleaning product on her face. The child told her parents, Christina and Jeff Pedano, who immediately reported the matter to the daycare and Barrie Police.

The daycare director initially stated that the staff member had been suspended, but the parents later learned that the educator had returned to work.

Another parent, Amanda Filipini, also came forward with a similar complaint, saying her 4-year-old child experienced a related incident in July, leaving the child fearful and distressed.

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that the matter is under active investigation. Stories like these continue to raise concerns about childcare safety, drawing public attention across News in Canada Today in Punjabi.
