California: Apna Punjab Media: A sad news has come out from America. Here, a 26-year-old Indian national working in California drowned in the famous Glacier National Park in the US state of Montana while holidaying with friends. Let us tell you that the National Park Service said in a statement that the Indian has been identified as Siddhant Vitthal Patil. Patil was hiking over a ravine on the Avalanche Lake Trail on June 6 when he fell from a large rock into Hiffley Creek. It is not clear whether he slipped on the wet part of the rock or lost his balance. His friends who were with him saw Patil going into the water and tried to save him before he drowned. His body has not been found.
Helicopters conducted aerial searches, but authorities suspect the body may have been buried. The statement said that Patil has died. Rangers suspect that the body is being crushed by obstacles such as fallen trees or rocks. Rangers continue to monitor the area and begin recovering fallen personal items. The water in the gorge is unpredictable due to depth and turbulence, creating white water conditions. Rangers flew a drone to locate the body, but the attempt was unsuccessful. Ground search efforts are underway from the ravine to the bridge on the Cedars Trail. Patil was working in California and was on vacation with friends.
