Born in the United States, Chilukuri hails from San Diego, California. He did his primary education from Carmel High School in California. He received a BA degree from Yale University in 2007 and an MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge in 2009. Usha and Vance first met at Yale Law School where they became close friends.
