Let us tell you that emergency was imposed in the country on 25 June 1975. This is the reason why this step is being taken to repeatedly remind everyone of this act done by the then Indira Gandhi government of Congress. Amit Shah announced this from his official X handle. In the last Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party has repeatedly accused BJP of changing the Constitution. On the government’s slogan of crossing 400, Congress had said that they need 400 seats only to change the Constitution. Now the Central Government has taken this step to stop this campaign of Congress.
