New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: In a first reaction to allegations of discrimination in the Union Budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman challenged the Congress to tell whether it has mentioned every state in the country in the budget presented by its Finance Ministers. “This is a heinous allegation, the Congress-led opposition is deliberately trying to give people the impression that other states (except Andhra Pradesh and Bihar) have nothing,” he said in the Rajya Sabha. She said that I challenge the Congress that they have presented many budgets, have they ever mentioned all the states. She was speaking after opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge staged a walkout accusing the government of ignoring non-BJP states in the budget. Responding to the allegations, he said that there is not a chance to take the name of every state of the country in every budget.
