Kiev: Ukraine today launched a drone attack on a National Guard camp in Russia’s Chechnya region. Kiev has continued to retaliate after Russia’s heavy aerial bombardment. Video footage released on social media showed a drone flying over Chechnya’s capital Grozny before exploding. No one was reported injured in the attack. The area of the attack is about 800 kilometers southeast of the border with Ukraine. Chechnya’s leader Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed that the drone had targeted a location belonging to the Akhmat Grozny police battalion. Two other drones were shot down by the air defence forces, he said.
