CBI today arrested the principal and vice principal of a school in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand in the NEET-UG paper leak case. Oasis School Principal Ahsanul Haq has been made Hazaribagh City Coordinator for the medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 5, the official said. Similarly, Imtiaz Alam, vice principal at Oasis School, was appointed supervisor and center coordinator of NTA. CBI is also interrogating five other people from the district in the paper leak case. He said that the Central Investigation Agency has arrested Haq and Alam after a long interrogation. During the investigation by the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) of the police, both the accused came under suspicion. Officials said that during the raid at the gang’s hideout, burnt question papers of NEET-UG were found. The EOU had claimed that the main accused in the case, Sanjeev Kumar, had obtained the ‘leaked’ NEET-UG question paper from Oasis School in Hazaribagh. There is anger among students regarding the cancellation of NEET-UG exam.
