Rome, Italy (Gursharan Singh Soni) Italy’s Gurdwara Management Committees and Sikh organizations are working day and night to bring the children of small Sikh families to Italy with camels and bundles carrying the fragrance of Sikh flowers. Under this mission, the Gurudwara Management Committee organized a 2-month long Samdar Khalsa Camp to connect the children of Sikh community with Gurbani recitation in the old building of the famous Gurdwara Sahib Singh Sabha in Pontinian (Latin) of Lazio Province. Special classes were taken to impart detailed information about the Lasani history full of sacrifices of the great Sikhism, knowledge of Kavishree art and Punjabi mother tongue along with knowledge of Gatka art, the Sikh martial art. Bhai Harjot Singh Khalsa Lavinio had given the responsibility of teaching the children in the Khalsa Camp. About 40 children participated in this Khalsa Camp and also shared the education received during the camp. Later, the committee honored the children who participated in this camp by giving them a memento and said that all the parents should think seriously and keep making efforts to connect all the children of the Sikh community born in Italy with Camel and Bun. . Efforts should be made to educate as many children as possible in Khalsa camps. On this occasion, the enthusiasm of small children on the occasion of Khalsa Camp was palpable. During the program, these children also invoked the excellence of Khalsa. The audience was enthralled with Gatka art, the gem of martial arts.
