Three ministers of the Punjab government met Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at Punjab Bhawan, demanding rights for the state from the Centre.

Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Three ministers of Punjab government met Union Minister for Power, Home and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar at Punjab Bhawan here on issues related to power and urban areas. During this, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, Harbhajan Singh ETO and Dr. Ravjot Singh demanded the Union Minister to make changes in the revised rules in the year 2022 by maintaining the tradition of appointing power members from Punjab in Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). Along with this, three ministers of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh Expressing Punjab’s right on the Shanan project, he said that it is Punjab’s right under the Punjab Reorganization Act. The Cabinet Minister sought to increase the capacity of subsidized solar pumps for agriculture to promote solar energy. He said that it should be of at least 15 horse power.
