Singapore: Apna Punjab Media: Three Indians and 10 Indonesian nationals have been detained while trying to smuggle drugs into Brisbane on a Singapore-flagged ship. After receiving a tip-off, Indonesian authorities stopped the cargo ship “Legend Aquarius” in the Pongkar waters of Kariman district.
There were 10 Indonesian crew members on board the ship, including the captain. The police is interrogating the three Indians. Police Commissioner-General and head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency, Martinus Hukom, said during a press conference in Batam that the Indian nationals had rented the boat and that the drugs belonged to them.
