Rome: Apna Punjab Media: Gurudwara Sahib Singh Sabha, the first Sikh tree planter in Italy, decorated the weekly Diwan to commemorate the 450th centenary Gurupurb of Guru Amardas Sahib Ji and Gurta Gadi Day of Guru Ramdas Ji. Giani Balwinder Singh Ji Granthi Sahiban Sachkhand Sri Harimander Sahib Sri Amritsar Sahib Walia participated in the Katha in these Diwans for a whole week. These days Giani ji has come to Italy on a special tour of Europe. Sharing information with the Italian Indian Press Club, the Gurdwara Management Committee said that in the special Diwan on Sunday, Giani Ji shared with the devotees about the supernatural life of Guru Amardas Sahib Ji. The work done by Guru Sahib for the welfare of humanity, the principle of “Pehle Pangat Pachai Sangat”, the denial of the practice of Sati and the introduction of Sikhism through the Manji practice by Guru Nanak Sahib. Reaching far and wide, he placed before the Sangat the immense charity done towards the Sangat and also got Guru Itihas Sarvan done regarding the life of Blessed Sri Guru Ramdas Sahib Ji. The devotees sitting in the Diwan Hall were purifying their soul by saying Dhan Guru Amardas Ji, Dhan Guru Amar Das Ji and Dhan Guru Ram Das Ji. The residents of the area and devotees from far and wide improved their lives by attending the Diwan throughout the week. After the conclusion of Sunday’s Diwan, the second book “Ramdas Satguru Kahavai” written by Giani Ji was presented to Giani Talwinder Singh Ji, the Chief Granthi of Gurudwara Sahib. It is noteworthy that like every year, this year too special efforts were made in Gurudwara Sahib. In which Gurmati camps were organized for children continuously for the last three months. In which brother Rakveer Singh, a student of Damdami Taksal, was training the students in Gurmukhi script, Gurbani Santhya and religious literature in the Gurmati camp for the last three months. On this occasion, Gurmati Camp concluded and Giani ji and members of the organizing committee encouraged all the children participating in Gurmati Camp by giving them blessings of Guru Sahib, medals, school bags and pens etc. From now on Gurmati Dera. On this occasion, the Gurdwara Management Committee honored Gyani ji by giving him Siropao. Guru Ka Langar was served to the devotees from the collection blessed by Guru Sahib Ji.
