The Election Commission of India has issued a notification for the third and final round of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: Apna Punjab Media: The Election Commission of India has today released the notification for the third and final phase of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The notification has been issued for 40 assembly constituencies spread across Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Udhampur, Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts, where voting is scheduled on October 1. On that day, voting will be held on 16 assembly seats of Kashmir division and 24 seats of Jammu region. The first and second rounds of voting will be held on September 18 and 25 respectively.
