The disciplinary committee of Shiromani Akali Dal has expelled party patron Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa from the party.

Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: The disciplinary committee of Shiromani Akali Dal has expelled party patron Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa from the party. This decision was taken in a meeting led by Party Disciplinary Committee Chairman Balwinder Singh Bhundar. Maheshinder Singh Grewal and Gulzar Singh Ranike were also present in the meeting. The committee accused Dhindsa of being involved in a conspiracy to weaken and break the party. Disciplinary committee chairpersons Balwinder Singh Bhundar and Maheshinder Singh Grewal said that party patron Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa could not maintain the dignity of his post. The committee members told the dismissed leaders that they were free to call a meeting of the working committee. 98 percent members of the working committee have expressed confidence in Badal’s leadership.
