The amount of PM Awas Yojana has increased in Punjab, 2.5 lakh rupees will be given by the central and state governments together

The Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 is going to be implemented soon. This will benefits lakhs of people. Earlier, the Punjab government and the Centre together used to give Rs 1.75 lakh. Now this amount has been increased to one lakh rupees. 2.5 lakh. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Government of India provides assistance to all the needy people who do not have houses. They provide financial assistance to build houses. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 is going to be implemented in Punjab this month. This has been approved by the Finance Department. A total of Rs 2.5 lakh will be given to the needy people. Under this scheme, money is given to the beneficiaries to build a house with 2 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. The government has laid down certain eligibility criteria for benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Beneficiaries must meet these eligibility criteria.
