Sri Lanka: Apna Punjab Media: 21 Indian fishermen arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy have been released and have left Colombo for Chennai. The Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka gave this information. The Indian High Commission in Colombo and the Indian Consulate in Jaffna secured the release of the Indian fishermen in collaboration with Sri Lankan government officials. The High Commission shared the picture of the released fishermen on social media platform X and said, “Return home! 21 Indian fishermen have been successfully repatriated and have left Colombo for Chennai.
