Chandigarh: Leaders of the Shiromani Akali Dal Reform Movement held a meeting here to discuss the Panthic and political situation in Punjab. On this occasion, the leaders called by the Jathedar of Akal Takht on December 2 were also discussed. In the meeting, the leaders of the reform movement decided that the leaders of the reform movement would appear before the Akal Takht as humble Sikhs. Prem Singh Chandumajra, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Sikander Singh Maluka and Surjit Singh Rakhra have resigned from the party. The resignations were accepted by Shiromani Akali Dal Reform Movement convenor Gurpartap Singh Wadala. However, Bibi Jagir Kaur, Sarwan Singh Phillaur and Parminder Singh Dhindsa have already resigned. The leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal Reform Movement assured the Jathedar of Akal Takht that if any of them felt any kind of religious, political or any other kind of service from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, they would do it as a humble Sikh.
