SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Hussain Ladoa Banga) – A Rottweiler dog and four puppies have been rescued by helicopter amid a massive park fire north of Sacramento, California. This information was given by the Butte County Sheriff’s Office. A man who lives near a remote area of Campbellville was rescued along with other people, but was unable to bring his dogs with him, according to a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page. Trevor Skaggs, a man with the county’s Rescue and Rescue squad, flew to the area in a helicopter with pilot Connor Smith and were able to locate the dogs. A Rottweiler dog was found dead at the scene while two other puppies were not found. The dogs and puppies found were given water and something to eat. They were later turned over to the North Valley Animal Disaster Group at the Chico Airport, which cares for horses, pigs and other livestock affected by the fires.
