Rome: Apna Punjab Media: Hardly anyone waits for the month of Sawan as much as Punjabis do, because in this month the girls of Punjab get a chance to celebrate the festival of Teej. Whether this Punjabi is across the seven seas or in Punjab. Girls celebrate this festival by burning smoke. A similar atmosphere was created in Borgonova (Piacenza), a city in the Emilia Romana province of Italy, where the Punjabis of Punjab celebrated the “Festival of Teej” with full enthusiasm. In this, girls dressed in Punjabi attire created a great atmosphere with Giddha, Bhangra and Boli and Punjabi girls gave solo performances on heart touching songs of Punjabi music. The 10th Teej Mela organized by Punjabi Institute of Culture was celebrated as a cultural fair in which Punjabis were entertained with Punjabi songs and dances. Meanwhile, it seemed as if Italy was trembling due to the impact of the ass of these young women. City Mayor Madam Maria Pateli participated in the fair as the chief guest and congratulated the organizing women. On this occasion, Madam Nisha Sharma (Aagu Punjabi Culture Institute) said that she lives thousands of miles away from Punjab, every expatriate Punjabi lives in Punjab and they all need to talk about Punjabi truth to promote Punjabi culture abroad. We should keep organizing such programs so that our future generations can also understand the Punjabi culture well. In this fair, folk songs of love between mother and daughter were also sung. Rajbir Kaur, Sarabjit Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur, Rimpi, Hardeep Kaur, Honey and Aman Kaur played an important role in successfully organizing this 10th Tiya Teej Mela.
