Brampton: Apna Punjab Media: Recently, a 25-year-old girl from Lohat baddi village in Brampton city of Canada died of a heart attack, whose body has reached her village. Family members, relatives and villagers bid him last farewell with tearful eyes. When the parents kept the body of their talented daughter, everyone’s eyes were moist. It is noteworthy that Tanveer Kaur’s daughter Ranjit Singh Mand had gone to Canada to study for her bright future, but she died suddenly of a heart attack on July 12. Expressing his anger, he said that while he had spent lakhs of rupees on his daughter’s education and sent her to Canada, now he has to spend 30 thousand dollars to bring her body to India. But neither the central government nor the Canadian government, which collects millions of dollars from the students, helped them in this work.
He demanded from the government that if such an unfortunate incident happens to any person abroad then the government should support that family.
