Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has appealed to the President to include regional languages ​​in all official notifications related to constitutional appointments in the context of the recent appointment of Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria. Sandhwan said that the notification issued by the President’s Secretariat regarding the appointment of the Governor during the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor of Punjab on July 31, 2024 was not made available in Punjabi. He said that it should be ensured that all notifications related to constitutional appointments by the President’s Secretariat include English and Hindi as well as regional languages.
