Punjab and agriculture sector were completely ignored in the Union Budget: Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa

Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa has said that Punjab and the agriculture sector have been completely ignored in the Union Budget. He said that Punjab is not only a border state but also a grain bowl for India, but the Union Finance Ministry has not announced a single special package for Punjab. Farmers are demanding statutory guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) on 23 crops. Despite the promise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government has not said a single word on MSP.
