In Melbourne, Sikhs announce protest march from Main Square to State Parliament
Melbourne: Apna Punjab Media: There is anger among Sikhs living in Australia after an alleged blasphemous video related to Perth city of Western Australia surfaced. In the video surfaced in this regard, parts of Gutka Sahib are seen being torn and thrown outside Guru Ghar located in Canningwell area of Perth. Sikh organizations have demanded strict action from the government to arrest the accused. Western Australia State Police have deployed Special Investigation Officers to investigate the incident and have assured action. In protest against this incident, Sikhs have announced a protest march from the main square in Melbourne to the State Parliament, which is to be held on 10 March. Till now, Sikhs have held meetings at different places in Gurughar regarding this incident. Today, Australian MP Jason Wood, Victorian Jewish Community Organization and Hindu Council of Australia and other social organizations have condemned this incident. On the other hand, the head of the investigation team of Western Australia Police has assured a thorough investigation in collaboration with the Sikh Association of Western Australia
