New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia till July 15 in the CBI case related to the excise scam. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja has ordered extension of judicial custody. Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody was ending today, after which he was produced in the court. In this case, the Supreme Court has granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in judicial custody in this case. Let us tell you that after Arvind Kejriwal did not get protection from arrest from Delhi High Court on March 21, ED arrested Arvind Kejriwal late in the evening on March 21 after questioning. The Supreme Court had released Kejriwal on interim bail on May 10. The Supreme Court has ordered Kejriwal to surrender on June 2. Kejriwal was arrested by CBI on June 26 in this case. Kejriwal has challenged his CBI arrest in the Delhi High Court. Kejriwal has filed a bail petition in the Delhi High Court in the CBI case. Let us tell you that ED had arrested Sanjay Singh on 4 October 2023 after questioning him at his official residence. After questioning in this case, ED arrested Manish Sisodia from Tihar Jail on 9 March 2023. Sisodia was earlier arrested by CBI on 26 February 2023. On May 21, Delhi High Court had rejected the bail plea of Manish Sisodia in the CBI and ED case.
