A glimpse of better development and bright future in the budget: PM Modi
New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the general budget, saying that it has something for every section of the society and it offers a glimpse of new energy, better development and a bright future. He said that this budget will contribute to making the country the third largest economy in the world and will also lay the strong foundation of a developed India. Responding to the budget through a video message, he said, “This budget is going to take the country’s villages, poor and farmers on the path to prosperity.” He praised the budget for giving priority to youth, backward classes, women and the middle class. The Prime Minister said that this budget will help in ensuring economic participation of women and will provide new path of progress to small traders and small industries. Describing employment and self-employment opportunities as the identity of his government, the Prime Minister said that today’s budget further strengthens it. Referring to the concessional scheme related to employment, he said that this will create crores of new employment opportunities in the country and the government will give the first salary to the youth who get the first job in their life.
