New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that ‘One Rank One Pension’ is being implemented for ex-servicemen. An important step towards the nation’s gratitude towards its heroes. In a post on ‘X’, PM Modi said that this scheme was a promise of BJP before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. His government issued an order on 7 November 2015 and decided to implement ‘One Rank One Pension’ and also explained its benefits. Has been implemented from 1 July 2014. The Prime Minister wrote that it will please all of you that lakhs of pensioners and pensioner families have benefited from this in more than a decade. ‘One Rank One Pension’ reflects the government’s commitment to the welfare of our armed forces. The Prime Minister said his government will always make every possible effort to strengthen the armed forces and the welfare of those who serve the country. He said that the implementation of ‘One Rank One Pension’ is a tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the ex-servicemen who have dedicated their lives to protect the country.
