Sacramento: Apna Punjab Media: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited an ammunition factory in Pennsylvania amid tight security that is producing weapons needed for his country’s war with the Russian army. His US visit begins with an inspection of the ‘Scranton Army Ammunition Plant’ and during this he will try to garner support for Ukraine in the war. He will address the annual meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York and then in the US over the next two days Will talk to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in Washington on Thursday. As Zelensky’s convoy approached the ammunition factory, a small group of supporters gathered to cheer him on, waving Ukrainian flags. The area near the factory was cordoned off since morning and a large number of security personnel were deployed there. The Scranton plant is one of the few centers in the country producing 155 mm cannon shells and has increased production over the past year.
