New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a strong pitch for pro-people, pro-active good governance (P2G2) as the pivot of India’s push to achieve the goal of a developed India and as the cornerstone of policies to make India a nation. Addressing the 4th Chief Secretaries’ Conference of Global Leaders in Frontier Technologies, the Prime Minister said that (P2G2) is the pivot of the government’s work, through which it can achieve the vision of transforming India into a middle to high income country. For this purpose, the Prime Minister urged the States to simplify compliance which often causes inconvenience to citizens and directed them to explore the concepts of viability gap funding for recycling of e-waste. Prime Minister Modi also urged the states to take the initiative to identify and facilitate suitable locations for entrepreneurs in small towns, especially in the non-agricultural rural sector. He described PM Gati Shakti as a key enabler for good governance and said that it should be regularly updated and indicators of environmental impacts, disaster-prone areas should also be included in it.
