Washington : Apna Punjab Media : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has outlined a set of ambitious goals aimed at transitioning India into a developed nation during his third term. Speaking to an audience of over 13,000 Indian Americans at Nassau Veterans Coliseum in New York, he highlighted India’s newfound sense of opportunities and self-confidence. Modi credited the challenging election process for his renewed mandate and emphasized his commitment to good governance and economic growth. ‘This year, something unprecedented happened in India,’ he said, referring to his electoral victory. Modi described Indian Americans as the country’s brand ambassadors, recognizing their role in strengthening US-India relations. The occasion also celebrated India’s cultural diversity with performances by 382 artists in ‘Echoes of India – A Journey Through Art and Tradition.’ The prime minister praised the Indian diaspora for contributing to societal and national development globally.
