Jerusalem: Apna Punjab Media: Officials from Egypt, Israel, US and Qatar are likely to meet in Doha to discuss ending the war between Israel and Hamas and a proposed three-phase ceasefire. However, the Israeli official has said that his team will be able to come for talks next week. On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the US Parliament in Washington, while thousands of protesters outside demonstrated vigorously demanding an end to the war. Hamas condemned Netanyahu’s speech, accusing him of hindering efforts to end the war.
Netanyahu has hinted at a ceasefire agreement, but addressing US lawmakers he reiterated his pledge that the war will continue until complete victory is achieved. Six relatives of Israeli prisoners were arrested during Netanyahu’s speech, but were later released. Jill Dickman, a relative of Carmel Gait, who was held captive by Hamas in Gaza, said Netanyahu did not once hint at ending the accord during his 54-minute speech. He said that the MPs had invited him to Netanyahu’s speech. Netanyahu also brought with his delegation the family members of rescued prisoner Noa Argamani and several others. Meanwhile, Israel has recovered the bodies of five prisoners from Khan Yunis city of Gaza.
