Doval and Sullivan vow to further develop India-US ties
New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) spoke to Jake Sullivan and discussed upcoming high-level activities under the Quad framework. The two discussed the challenges to world peace and the need to collectively deal with those challenges over the phone call.
The phone conversation during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Russia was the first form of official communication between top officials of the two countries. Doval and Sullivan vowed to take India-US relations forward, highlighting that the bilateral relationship is built on shared values and common strategic and security interests. “They discussed a range of issues of bilateral, regional and international concerns and upcoming high-level events under the Quad framework in July 2024 and beyond,” a statement issued by New Delhi said.
