Vancouver : Apna Punjab Media : A missing hiker has been found alive after 50 days alone in the snowy forests of northern British Columbia. According to a statement from the Northern Rockies RCMP, Sam Benastic met the two men on their way to work near Redfern-Kelly State Park, about 250 kilometers northwest of Fort St. John, on Tuesday. Workers took the missing passenger to a hospital, where police identified him as Benastic, who had been on a camping trip alone in the park on Oct. 7. Benastic was described as an avid outdoorsman. He was supposed to return from a 10-day trip on October 17 but when he did not reach home, his family reported him missing to the police.
