Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwari Lal Purohit said that he has no complaints against Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, he is leaving happily. He expressed these things while giving his farewell speech at Punjab Raj Bhavan. He said that there were often reports in the media about the figure of 36 between the Chief Minister and the Governor, whereas there is nothing like that.
This has happened once or twice, but he has nothing against the Chief Minister. He said that he did not resign because he was angry with the Chief Minister, but because he was 84 years old and he did so with the consent of his family. Now he wants to spend time with his family. Mr. Purohit said that he did not use the state government helicopter for special reasons. He wanted to understand the culture of the state by traveling by road in the state. He said that there should be coordination between the cabinet ministers and officials of the state, only then the development of the state will be possible. He appealed to the ministers to listen to the officials and give correct information to the officials. He said that the people of Punjab should come forward together in the fight against drugs. He said that the people of Punjab have a big heart and they will definitely win the war against drugs.
The Governor said that during the recent NITI Aayog meeting, he raised the issue of various development projects including setting up a medical college specifically for the UT and the Outer Ring Road.
