Party leader Keir Starmer has taken over the post of Prime Minister. Britain faces many challenges after leaving the EU. All this will not be so easy for Prime Minister Keir Starmer. A glimpse of this was seen during the amendment of the 2 Child Benefit Cap Policy. This policy was introduced by the Conservative government with the intention of reducing government expenditure. Under this, financial assistance from the government was stopped after two children. Keir Starmer’s government decided to amend the policy but seven Labor MPs opposed it. PM Starmer took strict action and suspended all 7 MPs of the party for violating the party whip. Actually, Prime Minister Keir Starmer is preparing to amend the 2 child benefit cap policy. Labor Party MPs have opposed this step of the Starmer government. 7 MPs expressed their opposition to the amendment bill. On this, PM Starmer and the party high command themselves came into action. A party whip was issued by the British Labor government on the 2 child benefit cap policy but seven MPs opposed it. In such a situation, the Labor Party suspended all these MPs. Action has been taken against all of them for violating the party whip.
