New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on phone on Saturday and congratulated him on being elected Prime Minister for the third time. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, both the leaders reiterated their strong commitment to take bilateral cooperation to new heights in the coming years. Both countries believe that India-New Zealand relations are based on shared democratic values โโand people-to-people ties. Noting the enthusiasm generated by the recent high-level contacts between the two sides, they agreed to pursue fruitful bilateral cooperation in trade and economic cooperation, animal husbandry, pharmaceuticals, education, space and other areas. Narendra Modi emphasized on the interests of NRIs. Thank you Mr. Luxon for their consideration. New Zealand Prime Minister assured continued efforts for the safety and welfare of the Indian diaspora.
