Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Khadoor Sahib MP Amrit pal Singh, lodged in Dibrugarh jail, has today approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. By filing the petition, he has demanded cancellation of the detention and action taken under the National Security Act. He has demanded the court to issue instructions in this regard.
In the petition, Amrit pal Singh said that his detention under NSA is illegal and it should be cancelled. He said he has been punished and deprived of democratic rights for speaking out against the state and central governments on major political issues.
