Kerala: Apna Punjab Media: The death toll due to landslides at various places in Wayanad, Kerala has reached 308. Kerala Health Minister Veena George confirmed this on Friday and said that so far 195 bodies and 113 human body parts have been recovered. He said that rescue and relief operations are going on in Mapadi and Churalmamala and Mundkai. Meanwhile, the Indian Army handed over the 190 feet Bailey Bridge to the civil administration. Earlier, former Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi visited the affected area on Thursday and met people in relief camps of Wayanad. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has held a high-level meeting in Wayanad to take stock of the situation. On this occasion, he said that rescue work will be our main priority and rehabilitation will be done as soon as possible.
