Kerala: 173 people killed, 200 injured in landslide

Wayanad: Apna Punjab Media: The death toll in landslides following heavy rains in Kerala’s Wayanad district has risen to 173 and more than 200 have been injured. The district administration said that those who died due to landslides included 23 children and 70 women and out of these, 100 dead have been identified so far. Officials said that 221 people evacuated from the affected areas have been admitted to hospitals. A large number of people are still reported missing in Wyandotte due to the landslide, whose search is going on in the houses buried under the debris.
