Paris: Apna Punjab Media: Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has announced her retirement after being disqualified from the Olympics. Vinesh said that now she has no strength left. Vinesh was disqualified for the gold medal in the 50 kg weight category earlier in the day for being 100 grams overweight. In a post on X, Vinesh addressed her mother Premlata and wrote, “Mother, wrestling won, I lost. Forgive me, your dreams, my courage, all are broken. Now I have no strength. Goodbye Wrestling 2001-2024. I will be indebted to everyone. Forgive me.”
