Indian American Ro Khanna becomes Member of Parliament in America for the 5th time

Along with this, elections were also held for 34 seats of the Senate and 435 seats of the House of Representatives. Six Indians had contested the elections for the House of Representatives, one of which was Ro Khanna. Ro Khanna has won for the 5th time as the Democratic Party candidate from the 17th district of California. Ro Khanna’s family roots are from Jalandhar, Punjab. He was MP from Hoshiarpur seat in the 3rd Lok Sabha and from Chandigarh in the 5th Lok Sabha.
