Indian-American MP condemns Indian-American lawyer Harmeet Dhillon’s comments on Arads

Washington: Apna Punjab Media: Indian-American Congressman Raja Krishna Murthy condemned the racist comments made on social media against party member Harmeet Dhillon regarding his prayer at the Republican National Convention and said they will never be accepted. It is noteworthy that Rahi Dhillon, a member of the Republican National Committee and an advocate on civil rights issues, offered prayers on the occasion of the four-day Republican National Convention that began last Monday, during which the party’s presidential candidate Donald Trump was also present.

Dhillon, who attended the conference in Milwaukee, faced criticism on social media after the prayer. Krishnamurthy, a four-time MP from Illinois, is a leader of the Democratic Party. He said that there is no place for discrimination on the basis of race or religion in America and when it happens, both the Democratic and Republican parties should strongly condemn it.
